Biography

EMJIE is an indie dance artist based in Brussels, offering a different kind of groove taking roots in the eighties.
From house to progressive techno, her music universe is rhythmed by magnetic vibes and rock influences.
Production wise, she crafts a unique blend of different genres, always spiced up with her signature: acid tones and
sexy baselines. With her latest EP « Who’s Talking » released on the Mexican label Phisica, EMJIE continues to rise
on the scene with great features on Beatport charts and strong support by names such as Kollektiv Turmstrasse,
Paco Osuna, Joyce Muniz, Deer Jade, Reznik, to name a few.

Making her debut on the belgian scene in 2019, she quickly became a favorite allowing her to release her magic at
iconic places such as Tomorrowland, Paradise City, Wecandance, Pukkelpop, Extrema, and the best national clubs
including Fuse, Kompass, Ampere, amongst others. Her aura is spreading worldwide as she often plays at
international venues such as Off Week (Barcelona), Solar Festival (Roermond), Hawa (Düsseldorf), Tech Maison
(Tulum),…

In a short time, she has shared impressive line ups with noted artists like Paul Kalkbrenner,
Dixon, Adriatique, Roman Flügel, Jimi Jules and many others. During her shows, she performs
with deep energy and always gets what the crowd is looking for. Her secret weapon ? She
always throws unexpected tracks with her magic wand turning any place into a wild and electric
dance floor.
