Biography

Brussels native with Congolese roots, DJ & producer Mambele is a reflection of his home- town. Eclectic and energetic, his universe holds positive vibrations at his core, travelling through the boundaries of music genres in his productions and DJ sets.

Not a stranger at getting people on the dancefloor by blending different genres, he criss-crossed most of Belgium’s venues such as Beursschouwburg, Couleur Café, C12, Charlatan, Horst Festival, VKConcerts, Ancienne Belgique, BOZAR, Het Depot or Botanique,.. He just started his international moves from Amsterdam to Dakar or the Congo (Amani Festival)

Every last Saturday of the month, Mambele showcases his latest music discoveries at Kiosk Radio. He also organizes events and hosts a radio show on BRUZZ called Bolingo, aiming to connect people and spread love through musical experiences, whether live or recorded.

His latest release is an ode to the 80’s funk vibe “Le Répondeur” for the Brussels Label Just Begun Records. He also figures on the DEFMAA MAADEF remix EP on BlancManioc Records alongside La Dame, DJ P2N, Pedro Bertho & KING DOUDOU.
